FAQ: Is my Tank Account a business account?

Yes - your Tank Account is a business account with your business as the beneficiary.
When opening your Tank Account, we verify your business with the IRS using your legal name and EIN. We also verify each owner of the business who holds a stake of 25% or more. Each owner can also be granted access as a user or administrator of the Tank Account.
A member of the Tank team will reach out to you if additional information is needed to complete verification of your Tank Account.
