Fifth Third Bank Migration

On March 17, 2025, all accounts and funds currently held with Evolve Bank & Trust will be moved to Fifth Third Bank. While this means that your account and routing numbers will change, we're excited to provide new and better features through this new partnership.
Our partnership with Fifth Third Bank offers several enhancements, including:
- Extended Transfer Cutoff Times Transfers from Fifth Third Bank use later cutoff times than ones sent with Evolve. The new cutoff times are 8:30PM ET for ACH transfers and 5:00PM ET for Wire transfers.
- Faster Transfer Speeds Transfers sent from external bank accounts to Fifth Third Bank arrive faster than those sent to Evolve. Similarly, transfers sent externally from Fifth Third Bank are deposited faster by the receiving institutions.
- Enhanced Performance Fifth Third Bank is a top 20 bank in the US and leverages industry-leading infrastructure, offering a high bar for reliability and performance.
What this means for you
- New Account Numbers If you've shared your current account and routing numbers with anyone (like payroll companies or service providers), you'll need to give them your new details. You can find your updated account info in the Tank mobile app. After the move, payments using your old account details won't go through.
- No Impact on your Tank Cards Your Tank Cards will continue to work normally. You will not need to replace your cards.
- Your Money is Safe We'll securely transfer your funds from Evolve Bank & Trust to Fifth Third Bank. Your transaction history and statements will still be available in the Tank mobile app.
- No Action Needed, Unless You Want to Close Your Account This change is automatic. If you don't want your funds moved, you can choose to close your Tank Account by emailing us at support@tankpayments.com.
Additional Questions
What about factor payments?
There’s no impact on payments from your factoring company. Your factor payments will remain instant, and there’s no need to update your account details with them—the migration will be handled automatically.
Will my Safe Accounts be affected?
No, Safe Accounts will not be impacted by the migration. These accounts already have their own account and routing numbers with Fifth Third Bank, so you can continue using them as usual without any updates.
